Artist I Admire

This picture is a drawing from Don Hertzfeldt, he is the creator of many short animated films. He uses an older metod for his animations, he takes photos from each drawing (frame-by-frame). Other animators use the tecnologic from his works, that is why i like this animator. This is a frame from the short animated called "Rejected" from 2000, and it was win 27 Awards and nominated for Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film in 2000. I don´t know when Don Hertzfeldt was take this photo, probably, one or two years before 2000. I like this animation because is a funny situation for one cloud and his friends (other clouds), in the beginning, he scream "Everybody dance" and all clouds dance with a music from the Swedish Christmas song, Nu är det jul igen. Until, the cloud starts bleeding, and scream "my anus is bleeding". The others clouds don´t answer and they still dancing. I like the ironic sound of happiness with the pain of one cloud, the music is happy and friendly for the situacion. I think it´s a ridiculous history, and brutally situation very hilarius. I recommend find and watch other shorts films from this animator.

The best holidays I've ever had!

Since a girl, always go to the mountains, in Region del Maule, my family have a very nice house there, so every holiday we visit that place called Cipreses. I went all my childhood there, that's why I have a good memories from there. I've also been to the beach , but not the same I prefer the mountain. When I go to Cipreses, I feel great, because it's so quiet, and I can read some books or see any movie in my laptop, or just sleep under the trees. I stayed around 5 or 6 weeks there. I really love that place. But my last holiday I didn't go, I prefer stayed with my cousin, him mother, and my grandfather. These two months I worked in a supermarket like a packer When I finished that job, I save up so much money, after that I buy a lot of things for the apartment, like a pretty dining room set. But actually we still haven't a refrigerator (its so hard living without that). Anyway, always think in Cipreses like a nice place to stay alone, or if you want, you can stay with some friends. But always you feel great, because that place it's amazing, and for me, it's an important part of my life.

Since 2006 I want to go Iceland and live there many years. I think, the people there its amazing, they are living in a unknown place. Iceland is an island from north of europe, near from England. Later, when I was 20 I saw the movie "Heima" (a documentary from Sigur Ros) and I thought about to know or maybe living there. Because the landscape it's so beautiful you can see the mountains and the ocean. Personally, I like two musicians from there, Sigur Ros and Bjork. I think to that place has a relationship with human behavior. In "heima" the people are pacify, because the climate of there, makes the conditions for relaxing. In the cold weather, you need to stay close than any source of heat, like in the south of chile, the people maybe it's like that. Or maybe I'm just thinking wrong. Anyway, always I want to live in other place such a Japan, butafter this career I want to go out, I just wanna take a camera, a laptop, and traveling with a friend, recording and make videos. The only problem I had, I dont want to leave my little cat (Cabernet) alone. From the moment I need to prepare a plan for carry Cabernet with family member. Cya!
